We have installed the following security measures:
  • Advanced Encryption Software
The Mobile Phone application provides for the symmetric encryption of your MobileMoney PIN with a Symmetric Key, which is unique for each SIM card. The application uses the 3DES encryption algorithm in connection with the symmetric key for the encryption of each PIN entered on the Mobile Phone.
  • Firewalls and Intrusion Detection Systems
Our website is protected by the Cisco PIX firewall system. We keep activity records which are reviewed regularly by ourselves to prevent unauthorised activities in our computing environment.
  • Access Codes
On each occasion that you access your MobileMoney account via the Internet, on your cellphone or a Point of Sale Device you are required to enter your Bank PIN. You only have 2 (two) opportunities to enter your PIN correctly. On the 3rd (third) unsuccessful attempt, you will be denied access to your MobileMoney account.
  • Timeout
If you log on and do not utilise the Internet service for a period of 5 (five) minutes, you will be logged out automatically. To access your account again, you will need to log in again.
